|Post subject:||Rearranging the Thinking About Music Forum|
This week (Jan, 2016) I rearranged the SchoolOfTheRock.com site to reflect that most of my articles about music theory and fretted musical instruments were ALSO on the CreekDontRise.com site (along with many more articles that started out there).
So I removed the duplicates from SchoolOfTheRock.com. That actually gives me room for popular topics like the History of Contemporary Christian Music that AREN'T on the other site.
So I started a new section about Christian music and musicians. Then I moved the "Thinking About Music" items that related to faith or Christianity or Gospel music or Christian music to that section. So the "Thinking About Music" section seems a little thin at the moment. As does this page on the discussion forum.
That said, there may be future articles about music in general in the "Thinking About Music" section. And if you have links to the articles' old locations, they should still work.
But folks who are mostly interested in Christian topics and Christian music topics (and - for reasons not worth retelling here - saxophones) should find themselves more at home on the SchoolOfTheRock site. And folks who are mostly interested fretted instruments or traditional and independent music will find themselves more at home on the CreekDontRise.com site.
We apologize for any confusion.
